物語 · OUR STORY
Inuya (犬屋) means "the dog shop." It started in a home kitchen, cooking for one picky rescue.
Duke came home underweight and unimpressed by anything poured from a bag. So we started cooking for him the way we cook for ourselves: rice, fish, slow-simmered vegetables, a little of everything, portioned into a box.
Friends asked for extra boxes, and then their friends did. Inuya is that kitchen, opened up to the neighborhood one pop-up at a time.
考え方 · PHILOSOPHY
Japanese home meals balance a little of many things. Our bento follows the same shape: a musubi for grain, a protein main, seasonal sides and a broth on the side.
We cook what's at its best. Kabocha in autumn, purple sweet potato when it's sweetest. That's why the menu rotates.
Whole proteins and vegetables, gently steamed or simmered. No heavy seasoning.
Small batches cooked for a specific pop-up, so nothing sits on a shelf.
Our food is made for dogs. If your dog is on a prescribed or medical diet, check with your vet first.
デューク · MEET DUKE
Duke is a rescue with satellite-dish ears and strong opinions about lunch. If he walks away from a test batch, it doesn't make the menu. Most weekends he works the pop-ups, mostly supervising the sardines.
